Established two decades ago, CDP operates a worldwide environmental disclosure platform. More than 23,000 companies have provided sustainability data related to the environment, water, and forests through CDP. Please note that these are not small companies. Collectively, they constitute a minimum of two-thirds of the global market capitalization in terms of value.
Why are they disclosing to CDP?
Because CDP is trusted by all companies. 746 investors, holding assets worth over US$136 trillion, and over 330 major purchasers with procurement spends exceeding US$6.4 trillion, are urging their value chain participants to disclose their environmental data via CDP.
