The Team
Ajay Miglani
Co-Founder
Ajay co-founded Kankei in 1998 and was part of the team that build a high quality CRM services company with its footprint across India.
Ajay studied at the prestigious Doon School in India before going on to complete his graduation in Commerce with Honours from India’s leading commerce college, Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He did his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India.
Prior to founding Kankei Ajay worked with American Express and Visa International. The tenure at American Express was for over 8 years and included managerial positions in operations, sales and marketing.
In 1996, Ajay joined VISA International as Marketing Director for South Asia. During this period, he managed vast marketing initiatives covering all forms of marketing communication.
Ajay now works as an advisor to Kankei. Driven by a passion for sustainability, Ajay is mentoring ESGKpo initiative of Kankei.
Madhur Mehta
Advisor
Madhur Mehta is an investment banker who has worked with JPMorgan and Standard Chartered Bank over the last 28 years, raising finance for corporations, financial institutions, governments and government agencies around the world. He has originated and raised financings of circa US$100 billion in 16 currencies for entities globally.

With close to three decades experience, Madhur knows what it takes to drive strategies to conclusion – be it raising funds, business development or nurturing long lasting relationships.​

Madhur has worked on sustainable finance projects that involve micro-finance, SME's,women and education creating innovative strategies for different classes of investors to participate together.
​
His brainchild - a digital project on Sustainable Finance has been a digital challenge winner. He received funding and with a technology team to bring the idea to MVP.
​
​Madhur was introduced by SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation) to OECD when they were writing the Perspective Series on: Making Blended Finance Work for Sustainable Development, to contribute via interviews and feedback.

Madhur has spoken at industry conference one of them being the Asia Financial Forum on Blended Finance.
​
Over the years he has led deals that have won industry awards from the International Financing Review, The Asset Magazine, Asiamoney and Global Capital.
Sumana Brahma
Head - Operations
Sumana has a well-rounded global experience of more than 25 years. A science graduate from Calcutta University and a PG Honours Diploma in Systems Management, Sumana did her management course from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore.
She has largely been involved in the IT & ITES sector and has worked with IT and IT training companies before moving into ITES/BPO. In a BPO/KPO setup, she has managed complete profit centre operations dealing with diverse processes like Telecom, BFSI, Ecommerce, Healthcare, Language recognition etc. for 20 years.
Sumana gained insights into the significance of sustainability while working with an Agri-tech company. Sumana’s professional stint also includes tenure in Singapore in Technical Customer Support and Service.
A stickler for process perfection and meeting deliverables, Sumana ensures that business operations run smoothly and quality & deadlines are met at all times.
